Professor Ioannis Kokkoris (Law Specialism Leader)

Professor Ioannis Kokkoris holds a Chair in Law and Economics at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary. He is also Executive Director of the Institute for Global Law, Economics and Finance.
He has formerly served as Principal Case Officer in the Mergers branch at the Office of Fair Trading, UK. He was the Founder and Executive Director of the Centre for Commercial Law and Financial Regulation, Vice President of the International Think-Tank on Innovation and Competition, and has worked as a Consultant at the Federal Trade Commission, USA.

Professor Francis Breedon (Finance)
BSc Economics (QMUL), MPhil Economics (Cambridge)
Francis Breedon is Professor of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary. His research is primarily focussed on bond and foreign exchange markets, ranging from detailed microstructure and trading to broader macro policy questions.
He also has extensive industry experience both as an FX strategist and as a consultant to a number of hedge funds, investment banks, Central banks and Ministries of Finance.

Dr Androniki Triantafylli (Accounting)
BSc Accounting and Finance (Athens), MSc Accounting and Finance (LSE), PhD (Athens)
Dr Triantafylli worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Ministry of Health prior to joining QMUL.
Her doctoral thesis devised a model of the use of Management Control Systems according to the Strategy in the context of Shipping Companies by using mixed methods research approaches.
Her current research interests concern the use of Management Control Systems as practices with application of a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches, especially in the services sector.

Professor Martha-Marie Kleinhans (Leadership)
BCL (McGill), LLB (McGill), PhD (London)
Martha-Marie is an accomplished senior academic leader and manager with a demonstrated record of delivering positive results in the global arena of business and higher education for more than 30 years. Her work on the international stage has given her keen insight into the challenges, opportunities and trends in business and higher education across North America, EMEA and, most recently, APAC.
Martha-Marie has led many projects in internationalisation and teaching/learning across higher education for world Top 100 universities and governments. Her work has been acclaimed by many awards, and she has twice been shortlisted for the UK’s prestigious “Oxford Law Teacher of the Year”.

Dr Lutao Ning (Entrepreneurship and Innovation)
MA (London), MBA (Liverpool), PhD (Cambridge)
Dr Lutao Ning is a Senior Lecturer (research track) in International Business at Queen Mary. He has previously worked as Lecturer in International Business at Durham Business School, Durham University, and was a visiting fellow at the Chinese Academy of Social Science and Peking University. His multidisciplinary background ranges from international business, open innovation, strategic management, development studies, and spatial economics.
He has successfully designed and delivered international business courses at all levels, including executive and full-time Financial Times-ranked MBA programmes at a number of international institutions.
